On Page Optimization Tips

Optimize your landing page with your target keywords. Make sure you have strategically positioned your keywords within the key areas of your page where search engine spiders want them to be. These areas include your title page, link texts, image tags, and your main content. If you have your keywords present on top of the page such as the header, then consider placing them as well somewhere at the bottom, even on the footer if necessary.

One of the most important thing that needs to be optimized in any landing page is its heading. If you wish to grab the attention of the visitors, then your landing page should have the same heading as the place or advertisement from where they are directed.

Remove Top Navigation From The Top of Pages!

The goal of a landing page is make your visitors to take action, clicking on your affiliate links and purchasing! So when you have someone visit your landing page, you won't want them to jump around your site or possibly head off another.

Using "Hero Shot" or not.

What is a Hero Shot? A Hero Shot is an image or graphic of a person or people that are emotionally similar to the visitor. For example, if you are promoting a weight loss product, you may put in your banner an image of a girl with a hot figure! You may or may not need a hero shot. But it is important that if you use a hero shot, please keep it above the fold.

On page SEO techniques can be quite time consuming. So keep this in mind when planning your site. If you are asking, why on page SEO techniques are time consuming, it is because every page of the website needs to be optimized in order for the on page SEO technique to be successful.

SEO optimization starts from domain name suggestion (if possible). Go for a keyword research regarding the business market of that site and recommend the client to choose that targeted keyword at the domain name of that site.

Keywords in titles: Try to include your main keywords in the title tag.. Keywords in title are extremely important. Title of every page should be unique, depending on the page topic.Google shows about 60 first letters of the title in SERPs, Yahoo! and MSN a little more. So if you will write longer titles, the main information about the page should be included in the first 60 letters.

Keep relevancy in your content. One of the major reasons why other websites would want to link to your website which in turn brings you a massive amount of traffic is because of your content. Another way to do this is to use your articles, and use a number of high-ranking keywords. Their purpose is to allow your article to show up once Internet users utilize your keywords in searching for information.

On-page can be further separated into visible and those that are non-visible to an online visitor. The recent buzz on the Internet is that visible on-page factors are more important as compare to the latter since website is build for human consumption. What a human visitor can't see is deemed to be useless and might be subjected to search engine manipulation.
